Dr. Atilla Gonenc is a clinical imaging scientist with expertise in PET, MRI, and MRS. His work bridges imaging and clinical research, using advanced techniques to study inflammation, oxidative stress, and mitochondrial dysfunction. Dr. Gonenc is currently exploring how MRS can reveal the hidden brain damage caused by repeated injuries in women affected by intimate partner violence, with a focus on oxidative stress.
