Annie-Lori Joseph, MS

Annie is fifth-year clinical psychology PhD candidate at Suffolk University. She graduated from Wake Forest University in 2017 with a BA in Psychology. After graduation, she was awarded an Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) at the NIH Clinical Center, where she worked on projects evaluating the neuropsychological correlates of traumatic brain injury. Annie has a strong interest in the intersection between trauma and women's health, and the cognitive and emotional effects of posttraumatic stress. While in the Valera Lab, Annie researches the effects of repetitive brain injury in women experiencing intimate partner violence through various modalities such as neuroimaging, blood biomarkers, and cognition.
