Sofia Nikolaidou
Sofia is a Clinical Research Coordinator from Thessaloniki, Greece. She earned her BA in Neuroscience from Smith College (2021) and aims to pursue a career in academia in the fields of neuroimaging and clinical research. In the Valera Lab, she is working on a project that delves into the exploration of abnormalities in neurometabolites and protein levels linked to repetitive traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). These anomalies serve as potential indicators of neurotrauma or neurodegeneration, particularly in women who have experienced intimate partner violence (IPV).
